Seaside
Dreams # 3
By: Melissa Foster
Releasing December 16th, 2014
Jessica
Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and
practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she
escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in
Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and determine if she is living life to the fullest or
missing it altogether.
For
the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world,
billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape
and spend time with his elderly grandmother—and falling in love is not in his
plans.
From
the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused
Jamie can think of little else than sensual, smart, and alluring Jessica, and
Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie’s
business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he
proves that the blond beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters
worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning
Jamie’s life—and his heart—upside down.
In a
world where personal information is always one click away, Jamie must decide if
he should trust his heart or watch the woman he loves walk away
4 Stars
Jessica is
a young woman that has been afforded an awesome opportunity to live her dream
but she is not sure if she is missing out on other parts of her life. Jessica
decided to take a break from her dream job, which in her profession, is unheard
of. When Jessica escapes to the beach to clear her mind, she never expected to
meet friends and a guy that would sweep her off of her feet in one try. The
chance meeting between Jamie and Jessica was priceless.
Jamie, a wealthy man that does not flaunt his money, has gone to the beach to spend the summer with his loving grandmother that raised him from a small boy. Jamie has realized that he has been pouring his everything in to his business and wants to appreciate the time he has left with his precious grandmother.
When Jessica and Jamie happen to meet, there are sparks from the very beginning. Once Jessica and Jamie break the ice and start talking, it is like they have known each other. Jessica runs into all of Jamie's old friends while at the pool and they all accept her into their little family like they have known her forever. Vera, Jamie's grandmother, immediately connects with Jessica because of a common bond they share a love for. Jessica and Jamie soon become inseparable and they both begin to realize that there is more to life than what they have been living. Once you find true love, your life feels complete.
Although Jessica and Jamie have their fair share of problems, true love hold out in this relationship. Jessica and Jamie both try to go back to regular life after having meet each other and neither one of them can stop thinking about the other. The time away only proved to strengthen their love for each other.
Once Jessica and Jamie find their way back to each other, they talk about their issues and about their hopes and dreams in their lives and realize that neither one of them should have to give up their dream job. They both compromise and have everything that they need and have missed in life. This book has a HEA for now but I would love to see more of Jessica and Jamie and see where this relationship goes. Thanks Melissa for a great read!!
