About HART ATTACK
Outside of Titan Group, there are few people
that Roman Hart would die for. He’s a soldier, a protector, and he’s haunted
that one of the people he should’ve been able to protect didn’t let him. That
was years ago, and now a hardened heart and a cocky attitude are his
impenetrable shields, until one woman—one challenge—drives him to distraction.
On the outside, Beth Tourne has it all.
Luxury car, gorgeous condo, and a job partying with the rich and famous. It’s a
plush CIA cover, but she wants more. Anything for an adrenaline rush that can
override her guilty numbness and let her forget the tragedy she never saw
coming.
Their scars make them perfect operatives.
Their mirrored pasts give them deep, wounded reasons to stay alone. But the
more they ignore the tension, the more vulnerable they become. Survival means
trust. In one another, behind closed doors, and on the job. The only way
they’re making it out alive is if they find peace while waging a war.

Review- 5 Stars!
This book has it all...suspense,
romance, heartbreak and scorching panty melting sex. This is my first
book in this series and by this author and I was not disappointed.
Two broken souls coming
together to find love. They are both scared and have emotional and
undeniable chemistry between them. Everyone around them sees it, but yet
they can't seem to get past their baggage. All they need is a push...and
that's what they get from everyone. Will they jump in or push back?
Beth is surviving, or at
least trying to survive. Her job at the CIA has been the perfect
distraction for her. She's thrown herself into her job as a way to cope
with the pain. She's a destroyer or at least that's how she feels.
She feels that she doesn't deserve happiness, that she's a shell of a
person moving through life, but there is one that causes her heart to
spark...Roman. Maybe she's not so dead inside as she thought....
Roman is badass! He's
a protector, a fixer and he's a sexy domineering man! Alpha
Male...HELLO!! However, he's still reeling after all these years about the
situation involving his sister Nic that he shies away from connection. He
doesn't want to be in that situation again of helplessness so he closes
himself off. The job is his first priority, his only priority. Yes,
he has friends, but still he keeps them at a safe distance from himself.
That's they way he deals, but there is something about Beth that he just
can't help himself. She's intriguing to him. She's someone who
could change it all for him. She's a game changer!
Roman I liked him and I
loved that he was so protective, but I could also smack him at times because he
could be a jerk. Beth I felt was a little bit of a puss, but then she
turn around and boom she'd snap! Talk about crazy...she does say she
is...lol. The chemistry between them was intense. I had to stop
reading a few times because it was almost primal. I mean they have been
denying each other so long it was of course going to be like fireworks going
off everywhere...damn!
"The only thing I want
to say is I need you so badly I can't breathe."~~Beth
There were times I was a
little lost just because I have never read the other books in the series.
Yes, this is a stand alone, but I didn't know the other characters
backgrounds. I will go back and read them as I am wanting to know more
about each one especially Roman's sister Nicola and Cash.
The ending oh the
ending...my heart was racing, my palms were sweaty and I was
gasping...Fantastic! Loved this book, it kept me on the edge of my seat
from the suspense, the banter, the sex and the love. Cristin Harber has
a new fan and that's me! Can't wait to read about the rest of the Titan
men! 5 STARS!

Excerpt
She closed her eyes and still saw his
chiseled face. “Don’t be sweet to me, Roman.”
“I’m not.”
With a deep breath, she opened her eyes and
focused on his lips then his eyes, wishing that he would act like a belligerent
ass, not this guy whose words held such gravity. “Then don’t do whatever that
was.”
“What? Touch you?” His fingers found a curl
of hair, and he rubbed the strands. “Why not when it’s so much fun?”
Ah, fun. That was the problem. She could
barely breathe. Holding herself up much longer would require significant and
obvious assistance. Everything he did turned her into a puddle of goo. And here
he was having a great time. La dee flippin’ da.
“I think I should go.” She jumped off the
couch without looking at him. Her legs decided to work at the last second,
saving her from a moronic tumble as she tripped while trying get away. “I don’t
want to be here.”
“Liar.”
