Damn!!! This book has me
so wrapped up in the suspense of it. I kept putting it down through out the day
because I didn't want it to end, but it kept calling me too come back and
read...Amazing! Oh and yeah there is definitely some major hotness.
Olivia/Lulu/Lou/Livi is a strong, beautiful independent woman. She's in a predicament a serious one and she calls the only man who can help her, but also destroy her....Alex. Now she's being forced back into a life she was pushed from...will she survive this time? Will Alex destroy her heart and soul again?
Alex is a deliciously sexy alpha male. He's the head of his dead fathers business...mob business. He's always been in love with Lulu, but secrets and life seem to push them apart. He wants to protect her and pushing her away is the best way, even though it breaks his heart. Everything he's ever done has been to protect her, but will she ever know the truth?
"I'll say I love you only because the words to describe what I feel for you have been created"......OMG sigh....
I love the flashbacks. It allows us to see how the relationship between these two started. It shows us backstory of what Alex has dealt with in regards to his father. It shows us the evil Lulu had to grow up with. Her mother and Silvio...pure HATE for them! I held my breath in a few scenes because it just was horrible to witness. It just unraveled perfectly. The dual POV's are wonderful because you see how both are feeling and how crazy drawn to each other they are, but yet deny. As the author says...magnetic pull.
As the books keeps going on there were times I wanted to slap Lulu. Quit running, you're endangering everyone! I also wanted to kick Alex in the balls and say just f-king tell her. God I was pissy a few times, but I couldn't put it down. I was just sucked into the whole chaos of it. The whole love story, murder, mayhem....outstanding!
OMG the ending oh the ending ripped out my heart and shredded it....I was sobbing with Livi. Cliffhanger of the century here! I need the next book now! This is a debut novel, no way! G.K. Moore's writing style flowed naturally and it sucks you in. You visual her characters, experience their emotions and holy hell is it hot! But I'm left with questions and I want answers and I want my HEA...lol. Overall, the suspense, the questions, the lies, the romance are phenomenal. This book starts and ends the same with a Big Boom! 5 plus stars! I highly recommend this book!
