Review-
I was interested to see how this book was going to play out. Being a Eternal Guardians book it had a lot of information to be fit in such a short amount of time but it was done beautifully. I didn't feel bombarded by information, instead I was able to learn as I read and enjoyed it without the sense of confusion distracting me. It's a talent to be able to do that.
Ari was definitely one of my favorites. The brooding "bad boy" personality of his was done flawlessly, and I hurt for him once I heard his story. It's one that would make anyone feel for him. Somehow she was able to make a completely fictional backstory feel relatable even if it wasn't at all something I've been through.
Daphne had all of the qualities I admire in female heroines written well. She was strong, determined, and kind hearted. It always makes my heart a little happier to see a character like hers; one that didn't let a bump in the road stop her from doing what she knows is right. I absolutely adored her.
This was a nice quick read that had me turning the pages as fast as I could in order to find out what happened next. It's worth the one-click I promise!
