The Affiliate is a vividly written story that takes you on a voyage full of mystery, magic and forbidden love.

Cyrene has waited her whole life to be placed in the first class of the royal court. However when the day she has been waiting for arrives unexpected things happen in quick succession. A riddle and immediate sexual chemistry with the King sets the stage for her journey.

The characters in the book are awesome. The King and Prince are both vying for Cyrene's attention. The King is completely swoon worthy. He never forces his hand and he patiently waits for Cyrene to fall for
him.

The Prince is also charming but too forward for Cyrene's liking. Their banter had me entertained more often than not.

Cyrene is brave and says what is on her mind no matter who she is talking to. She stands up for what she believes and defends what she thinks is right.

Who can she trust in her search for answers?

What will she have to sacrifice to find what she is looking for?

This tale did not end with a cliffhanger. However I found that the tale of a brave girl who is navigating her way through romance, politics, mystery and magic left me wanting more.
