#Review #Giveaway Written in Ink by @CarrieAnnRyan @InkSlingerPR

Written in Ink Synopsis:
A Brand New Full Length Novel in the Bestselling Montgomery Ink Series where the quiet, inked Montgomery finds his match in the woman with a fiery passion and a past full of secrets.

There’s nothing worse for a writer than missing a deadline. For Griffin Montgomery, his failure to do what he loves comes at a blow. He didn’t understand how it was affecting his life until his well-meaning family intercedes. His sisters have hired him a new personal assistant and he’s outraged—that is, until he sees who it is.
Autumn Minor is light on her feet and a bare memory for most people she meets. She does her best to blend ineverywhere she lives, even if it’s only for a short period of time. Making sure no one truly notices her is the only way she’s survived this long. Only when she meets Griffin and the rest of the Montgomerys, she’s afraid she won’t be able to let go when its time to run.
Though the two begin a tentative but explosive relationship, they know it can’t last forever. Neither of them are made for the long haul when it comes to love and romance. When the demons from Autumn’s past find her and put both their lives at risk, Griffin will stop at nothing to protect her. In the end, though, he’ll be the one who needs a second chance.

Review:
3.5 Stars
Written in Ink has all the elements to the type of stories I love; a big crazy family, tight bonds, chemistry, and awesome characters.  It kind of reminds me of real life, in the way the characters all have so many different things going on, but are still close.  It was interesting to me to see how all of these stories are weaved in and out of each story line.  It intrigued me, that's for sure, and who doesn't love a tattooed book boyfriend?
The chemistry between Griffin and Autumn practically jump off the page from the first scene.  I loved that about this book.  There was no doubt about them being meant for each other, it was right there, you could feel it as you read.  And I have to admit, I fell in love with Griffin.  A writer who is tattooed and has a big heart? Yes, yes, and yes.
Autumn had some redeeming qualities to her, especially when she was standing up to Griffin, but I felt she was a little bit too vague.   I spent a lot of time wondering about her life.  It wasn't until towards the end where her story was revealed which isn't a bad thing, but I about died from curiosity at that point.   I'd love to dive into that one, but you know, spoilers and all.  Just know, it's definitely worth the wait.
Although I loved their relationship, and watching their love unfold, I had a really hard time with how many characters were involved in the story.  I found myself distracted and trying to keep up with them all.  I loved that each character had a story, interesting ones at that, but it got to be a bit much, especially when I was first introduced in the story.  It made me lose focus on Griffin and Autumn and had me trying to remember who was who, who was dating who, and who was related to who.  Other than that, Written in Ink was a great quick read for me! Definitely something to put to your TBR list.

Carrie Ann Ryan Bio:

Displaying Profile2 (1).jpgNew York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan never thought she’d be a writer. Not really. No, she loved math and science and even went on to graduate school in chemistry. Yes, she read as a kid and devoured teen fiction and Harry Potter, but it wasn’t until someone handed her a romance book in her late teens that she realized that there was something out there just for her. When another author suggested she use the voices in her head for good and not evil, The Redwood Pack and all her other stories were born.

Carrie Ann is a bestselling author of over twenty novels and novellas and has so much more on her mind (and on her spreadsheets *grins*) that she isn’t planning on giving up her dream anytime soon.
