Prologue
Closing my eyes tightly, I soaked in and reveled in the whole body shudder that consumed me with want.
The want to destroy
The want to kill
So when we briefly meet Rage in Soulless, I was hooked on her. I needed to know more about her...she intrigued me. I knew she had a story to tell and I was so freaking happy when Tracey said she was writing her. I don't want to go into too much because it's a book that you need to read to understand her. Rage has so many layers to her that you just can't explain, you have to experience it. You seriously need this Psycho Devil Barbie in your life.
Rage is complex, she's one of my favorite characters I've ever read. I felt that Tracey conveyed her blood lust, her rage, her emotionless feelings. She's strong, fiery, a force to be reckoned with...a storm that continues to destroy everything in its path...until Nolan entered her life and tore everything she felt and knew to shreds.
I wanted him
I didn't want to want him
I wanted to want to kill him
Nolan....Holy shit Nolan was everything I wanted him too be. He's a mixture of King, Bear and Jake....Domineering, sweet, playful, sexy as hell and full of secrets! I was shocked when his secrets finally came out. Shit the evil ginger strikes again!
I'm going to fuck the anger out of you.
There are so many scenes that are hot as hell and dirty. Rage is such firecracker and when Nolan and her are together something ignites...they are blinding from all the sparks that splinter from the white hot heat of them. They are so much alike, but yet they are totally different. It was amazing seeing Rage slowly let her walls down even though it's scaring the shit out of her.
True freedom was giving myself permission to love. True freedom was Nolan
Can I say just a little bit about Smoke...He's so freaking mysterious and I am in love. I am calling him as mine now! Lol. I loved his relationship with Rage. It has hints of a love/hate attraction. I need more of him!
Tracey's words flowed flawlessly and everything started to fall into place. To say I was shocked at a few scenes is an under statement. I was beyond shocked and didn't see these things coming. Things are hinted at, but then she full out blows your mind. She sits back and laughs at us, I know she does...lol.
The banter between these two is engaging and you can easily get lost in them and the story. She has a way to bring out so many emotions that you have no clue what you are going to experience when you start her stories...all I can say is Hang on tight when you start one.
I was fortunate enough to take the journey with Tracey and I am truly thankful and honored.
I learned that just because I can kill, doesn't mean I don't have a heart.
I could have both the night and the day, the passion and the poison.
The Hope and the Rage
This is a complete standalone, but I recommend reading all her books because they are all deliciously intense! You will find yourself on the edge of your seat and completely in love with her tortured characters. Yep, going into one of my top reads this year...Highly recommend this!

About the Author
T.M. (Tracey Marie) Frazier resides in sunny Southwest Florida with her husband and three feisty fur kids.
She attended Florida Gulf Coast University where she specialized in public speaking. After years working in real estate and new home construction, she decided it was finally time to stop pushing her dreams to the back burner and pursue writing seriously.
In the third grade she wrote her very first story about a lost hamster. It earned rave reviews from both her teacher and her parents.
It only took her twenty years to start the next one.
