STROKED by Meghan Quinn
Scheduled to release: July 20, 2016
NA Romantic Comedy
Cover designer: Indie Solutions by Murphy Rae
Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.
His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water.
On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.
I hate to admit it, but I’m head over heels infatuated with him.
There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers.
What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.
Review
5 Stars!!!
Stroked by Meghan Quinn is a laugh out loud romantic comedy about the trials and tribulations of reality TV relationships mixed in with the Olympics. Every single aspect of this book is fantastic and as a faithful reader of Ms. Quinn’s, I am always left asking myself how does she come up with this shit? It’s ridiculously awesome and I laugh reading every single book of hers.
Paisley is in a bind. She needs a job, and working in film production, the only opening is as an assistant to reality tv star Bellini Chambers. Bellini is the epitome of a heinous human being. I despised her with every ounce of my being. She was like every aspect you hate about the Kardashians- on crack. She was certifiably crazy and thought her dog, Pope Francis (who is adorable) spoke to her religiously. I cannot tell you anymore just how much I hated her, which was the point, so way to go Meghan! You wrote the absolute best have to hate character. Bellini Chambers is in my top five love to hate characters for sure.
Paisley is a go with the flow kind of chick, but she needs this job, and that means putting up with Bellini and her absolute atrocious personality. This brings her into contact with Reese King, famous Olympic swimmer who is Bellini’s fake boyfriend for her reality show. He is hot, talented, despises Bellini, and is actually a truly nice guy- I loved him immediately. He and Paisley are attracted to each other from the get go. With Reese training for the Olympics, the reality show, and Bellini’s absurd demands, he and Paisley embark on a secret relationship- there was just no denying their attraction.
With Bellini’s craziness comes problems, but have no fear, a happily ever after it will be. Though Reese and Paisley have to get passed the bump in the road, it was worth it. Those two are meant to be, and even though they come from different backgrounds, they complete one another.
I truly loved this book and wished that it went on forever. Meghan Quinn has this way with words that is fresh and addicting. Some of the things she writes is absolutely absurd, but that’s what truly makes her books. I always know going in that I am going to be amused by whatever she came up with in her head (to be a fly on THAT wall). I read everything of hers and am always impatiently waiting for what she has next.
I loved every single thing about Reese. The Olympic swimmers are always my favorite, so I loved reading a story about one. He was just a great guy who was in a rather unconventional situation. He adored Paisley, and I mean come on, the guy plays with puppies. SWOON! Paisley tried to fight her attraction, but I loved how much he meant to her. She put him first, when he would have willingly put her happiness ahead of his own. She chose him, loved him, and showed such inner strength.
I can’t say enough about how awesome Stroked was. You get to drool over an insanely how swimmer (and his hot swimmer friends), laugh over the antics of Paisley and Reese, and physically cringe over the best love to hate/want to stab in the eye reality tv star. Meghan Quinn wrote an insanely good book and I can’t wait for more from her.

About the Author:
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
