Where to even begin… Max Monroe. The crazy talent behind the newest installment of the Billionaire series, Banking Her. Every single book in this series is fantastically crazy and awesome. AND they just Keep. Getting. BETTER! It’s like you combined the crazy WTF-ness of Meghan Quinn with the hot alpha and great banter of Emma Hart, and threw in a little of Toni Aleo’s fantastic writing. It’s a killer combination. I laugh and smile and enjoy every single second of what Max Monroe has written.
Banking Her is the follow up novella to Banking the Billionaire, Thatch and Cassie’s story. Just as Tapping Her set up Banking the Billionaire, this novella follows the craziness of Thatch and Cassie as her pregnancy begins to progress. Along with Thatch and Cassie, it sets up the next full length book, Scoring the Billionaire, which will be Wes and Winnie’s story.
Thatch’s anxiety is through the roof what with worrying about Cassie working while pregnant. He does his best to hide it from her, but it then turns him into a sweet stalker who follows her around to her photography shoots. Cassie is progressing nicely, still the same horny inappropriate woman that we all have come to know and love. She misses Thatch when she works, but she knows that working hard now will let her have more time off once the baby comes.
Thatch and Cassie are my absolute favorite and I devoured Banking the Billionaire. Where the authors come up with the utter ridiculousness that is in their books is beyond me, but it is just so freaking awesome. Thatch and Cassie are still navigating a fairly new relationship and with both of them being anti relationships for so long there is still a little adjustment period. But what they know above all else, is that they love each other. And Thatch’s sweet getting up for the midnight craving deal… swoonworthy!
In between Thatch and Cassie, we get snippets of Wes and Winnie. Those two… talk about chemistry. Their story is going to be epic. Wes is the ultimate ladies man who is as anti relationship and they come. So much awesomeness can’t be confined to just one woman… or so it seems. Winnie is a single mom, who with the help of her family, put herself through medical school. She doesn’t have time for a relationship, especially with her gorgeous boss. They are utterly attracted to each other, and it’s only a matter of time before the smoldering looks and quick heated glances progresses to something more… which we will see in Scoring the Billionaire.
Bottom line, this novella was freakin awesome. I love, love, love this series and I am impatiently counting down the days until Scoring the Billionaire. October can’t come fast enough!!!
