I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.
Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now.
The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

Co-Wrecker by Meghan Quinn is another example of her sheer talent and creativeness as an author. A new adult story, Co-Wrecker follows college students Andrew and Sadie as they navigate through life while learning to cope with what their lives now are. A funny, sweet, and all around good story, Co-Wrecker is a definite read by a fantastic author.
Computer geek Andrew just transferred to a new college after a slight scandal at his last. Wanting a fresh start, he gets a job as the fountain man at an ice cream shop. He immediately sees something special in his coworker and trainer, Sadie. Sadie wants nothing to do with Andrew, and is completely closed off and immune to his boyish, computer nerd charm. A good guy done to his very core, Andrew is perplexed at her behavior and instantly wants to befriend her… and maybe more.
“Because… there is something dark in her eyes, something that has hardened her to become the person she is today. I can see her pain, and I don’t know, I just want to figure out why she’s so angry, why she can’t genuinely smile at a stranger, and maybe, just maybe, I can help her learn to smile again.”
Sadie is mad at the world. After a dysfunctional upbringing, a sudden loss, and a recent break up, Sadie just doesn’t know who she is anymore. She’s stuck in a rut, angry and upset, with no idea how to fix anything. She wears her attitude as a shield, not letting anyone in. Andrew is a goofy, good looking nerd, and try as she might, she can’t help but like him. When Andrew finally breaks through her walls, an easy no strings attached relationship is formed.
“Because you give off this whole innocent vibe when in fact, you’re a dirty freak in the bedroom.”
Andrew wants more from Sadie, but she is hesitant to give it her all. When she isn’t completely honest with Andrew, he makes the difficult decision to walk away, knowing he deserves more. It is up to Sadie to put on her big girl panties and fight for him. She’s done watching her life from the sidelines, it’s finally time for her to take control. But will it be too late?
I looooved Andrew’s character. He was funny, loyal, nerdy, an all-around good to his core guy, and a freak in the bedroom. He was a great character, and probably one of my favorites of Meghan Quinn’s. I didn’t always love Sadie. There were times when I wanted to bang my head against the wall and tell her to get over herself. She was a little difficult to like at times, and although I understood why she was the way she was, it was still a little hard.
Andrew’s roommates were awesome and they made me laugh out loud. A perfect example of Meghan’s quirky, off the wall comedy. It was welcome after some of the serious parts of the book for sure. Co-Wrecker is a solid 4 ½ stars!
About the Author:
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
