DANTE’S FIRE - CHARACTER BLOG TOUR

Meet Dante Stark

“I’m a ghost with the power of fire, half in this world, and half in another. You belong in the light, Selina. You don’t belong with me.”

It’s me. Dante Stark. Or Daniel Stark – whichever you prefer—but I’d go with Dante since that’s my true identity. Yep, I’m the hero of Dante’s Fire.  I really hate when I’m called a superhero – it’s so limiting and brings certain expectations I despise. For instance, I’m human, can’t dodge bullets, or wear cool costumes or save the universe. I’m a businessman who’s really good at making tons of money, but because of this gift I inherited, I can’t be in the public eye very much.
See, I get sucked up into some time warp and end up coming to the rescue of a woman who’s about to get sexually assaulted.
Fun, right?
Not. I refuse to get into my past—you can read the book—but usually I connect with this woman and am able to heal her. As for the assaulters? Well, let’s just say they can never do it again. I give them a tattoo of fire that burns like hell and is permanent. Justice, in a way.
Anyway, it’s hell on my love life, and I avoided that entire mess until I fell hard for Selina. Of course, she had no idea I was really the owner of Inferno Enterprises. She just thought I was the mail guy. But you never know when love’s coming in, or walking through the door, or some shit like that, right?
Oh, and I was not happy when I was wrapping up my happy ever after to find I had a half sister and brother in the world, which I know will bring complications. At least I have a family though. More than I ever had before. Had no idea my father had two other children though, which is unsettling and I need to make sense of it.
Wanna know anything else? I don’t like long walks on the beach, or fruity cocktails, or sharing feelings. I like a powerful deal that gets my adrenalin going. I like helping someone who’s in trouble and righting the wrongs of this world. I like sex, in all forms, in all ways, with Selina. I like money because it makes everything easier. I like rainstorms because they help me think and take away the sting of fire. I like heavy metal bands that are loud and drive out any other thought but the music. Metallica is one of my favorites.
So, that’s it. Read the book. Please. For my sake. And leave a review. Please. For the writer’s sake.
Going back to Selina. Hopefully she’s in bed. Catch you guys later.
