About YOU’RE STILL THE ONE:
Love is one dare neither of them can take...
Arabella Stone, Nashville's darling, is eager to shuck her prim-and-proper rep, and a few wild months spent checking items off her " summer bucket list" is the way to do it. First up: kiss the man she's crushed on since she wore a training bra, the bad boy of country himself, Blue bassist Charlie Tucker.
For Charlie, a beautiful woman flirting with him isn't out of the norm--but a beautiful woman bolting after the hottest kiss of his life sure is. And when he finds out his kiss-and-run Cinderella is none other than Arabella Stone, daughter of his label's CEO, he knows he's in trouble. Because not only is she a Stone, she's also his employee for the next few months at the recording studio he just bought.
Over the course of one thrilling summer, Arabella and Charlie chip away at her bucket list and fight the simmering attraction between them...knowing that once it's all over, so is their time together.
Review - 4 Stars
I have always loved any book that I pick up by
Rachel Harris and this one was no exception. I am still a
huge fan of her writing because she has a way to draw you into her
story and make it feel so life like that you have to remind yourself
that it is just a story you are reading. The characters are
always well developed and having you falling on love with them from the moment you meet
them. There was no difference in this one with Charlie and Arabella.
Arabella is going to spend her summer doing some of her "Bucket List"
things so that she can truly enjoy her summer away from Nashville. When she
goes to a bar one night and talks to a stranger, she marks one thing
off of her list. Ella had no idea though that the conversation she
started would lead to a kiss that she has only dreamed of. What blows Charlie's
mind is when Ella runs from him right after the kiss. Will they ever
see each other again? This feels like a Cinderella story in the making.
When Charlie and Ella run into each other a few days later, Ella realizes that
she is going to be working for Charlie this summer as an intern at the studio.
Charlie realizes that Ella is the daughter of his boss and knows that
she is going to be off limits. Will this ruin the chance at a
relationship that they so long for after that first kiss? What a bummer to
realize that the one person that you think might be
your perfect fit turns out to be your boss's daughter.
Ella and Charlie are soon closer that they knew they were going to be and Ella
even moves into the small apartment adjoining Charlie's. Although
Ella has her own space and all, it is easy for her and Charlie to spend most of
their time together and get to know each other pretty well. With Charlie being
in a band, they are as close as family when they all get together. They accept
Ella into their little family so easily that it all just seems so right. What
is going to happen if the press gets a leak that Charlie and Ella are
together though? Can the tight knit family be enough support for Ella
and Charlie or will their whole relationship that they have worked at
developing crumble around them?
Rachel Harris does such a good job with this one. I loved how Charlie was
so involved and worried about his niece as well. I thought that showed another
side of him that we didn't get to see much of. Ella was such a strong
character. She knew what she wanted and knew where she was headed with her
life. This all made for a really great story. Thanks Rachel Harris for a great
read and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us readers next!

About Rachel Harris: New York Times bestselling author Rachel Harris writes humorous love stories about sassy girls-next-door and the hot guys that make them swoon. Vibrant settings, witty banter, and strong relationships are a staple in each of her books…and kissing. Lots of kissing. An admitted Diet Mountain Dew addict and homeschool mom, she gets through each day by laughing at herself, hugging her kids, and watching way too much Food Network with her husband. She writes young adult, new adult, and adult romances, and LOVES talking with readers!
