Even Cowboys Get the Blues is the first book that I have read by Amie Stuart. It;s not the first book in the series but it is so well written that I couldn't tell. This is a very emotional story that hits you right where you feel it the most.

The characters back stories are heartbreaking. I loved that I really got a sense of what the what the characters were feeling, and because the book is written form several points of view, I found my self feeling conflicted often. This shows how well the characters are developed and I loved traveling through their journey with them.

I cannot believe that I have not read any of Amie Stuart's work, but I have a feeling that I will be reading this series from the beginning very soon.

If you are in the mood for a great romance sprinkled with chemistry and heartbreak, then please look no further because you will love this novel.
