When her mother’s incessant matchmaking hits an all-time high, Georgie Archibald does what any sensible woman would do: she flees the country.
Seeking refuge in the picturesque seaside village of Vernazza, Italy, Georgie’s only plan is to lie low, gorge herself on gelato, and let the wine and waves wash her troubles away...that is until she wakes up in a bed that belongs to the most romantic-looking man she’s ever seen.
Gianluca.
After going out of his way to rescue her, the former London financier turned mysterious recluse makes it clear that despite acting as her white knight, he has no plans to co-star in her fairytale.
But Georgie isn’t asking for his heart—she’s merely intrigued.
After all, Gianluca isn’t just gorgeous—tall and tan from days spent in the sun—his touch sets her world on fire. With him, Georgie experiences the most intoxicating passion she’s ever known, and it only takes a few steamy nights for her to realize that sometimes running away from trouble is the best way to find it.

#Review #Excerpt Sweetest Taboo by @juliekenner @InkSlingerPR

  sweetest-taboo-0-days-banner
sweetest-taboo-comp-10

In this irresistible Stark International Novel, J. Kenner ups the ante on Dirtiest Secret and Hottest Mess, proving once again with the S.I.N. series that she “may very well have cornered the market on sinfully attractive, dominant antiheroes and the women who swoon for them” (RT Book Reviews). All eyes are on us . . . and there’s nowhere to run. Everyone has their own ideas about Dallas Sykes: He’s a reckless billionaire, a devilish playboy, a man who gets whatever he wants the minute he wants it. But I know the real Dallas behind the money, bravado, and power—and he’s completely, blissfully mine. We carefully guarded our secrets, and in each other’s arms we sought refuge from our dark past. Our pain became our pleasure, our control within the chaos. But we could only hide from the truth for so long. Now we’ve let loose our inhibitions and are ready to face the future. And no matter what people think or say, coming clean is its own sweet reward. Sweetest Taboo is intended for mature audiences.

Review - 4.5 Stars
A cat and mouse intense game...

Dallas Sykes and Jane Martin story concludes in this dynamic rollercoaster ride better known as Sweetest Taboo. Book three in the S.I.N. Trilogy continues to center around Dallas and Jane's forbidden love, secrets and truths.

Jane is missing and Dallas is desperate to find her. He wants to keep her safe and not have to relive memories from their childhood, but will he get to her in time?

This is very steamy and let me tell you at a few points, I felt they were drawn out a bit and over the top, but like J. Kenner fashion you still love them. Their chemistry is just so strong its hard not to add some more flavor...lol.
They both are broken, but together they can heal. When you find the one person who accepts you for the way you are, you grab them and hold on. Dallas and Jane had a special relationship that bonded them for life. It was time to not deny it or hide it anymore. But would their family accept them? How would everyone react? Two souls who are connected by love, but may not get their HEA.

The whole suspense part of the story drags you in and I have been waiting for this book to finally get all my answers. Who is the jailer? Who is this woman? Why did she kidnap them? Who do you trust? Those you thought you could trust end up being the ones who might just stab in you in the back and turn on you.

This is definitely a ride you won't want to miss. You will be thrown through hoops and hurdles trying to solve the mystery. Plus the push and pull of Jane and Dallas's relationship will have you panting and on edge. This book may not be for everyone, but for some you will love it. Monsters and villains are all around us, but you may not see them until the last second so watch out! Be prepared to be scandalized. Loved it and of course a certain family also makes an appearance...YES! J. Kenner takes you on one hell of a ride. She is a masterful genius. She can weave things so well that she will have you thinking you are the one whose responsible for everything. Damn! 4.5 Devilish Stars!!

“There are so many things to say. Important things. Essential things.” “Jane—” “But not now. I don’t want to talk about any of it right now.” Hope warred with fear inside him. “I just want—oh, please, Dallas. I don’t want to talk. Right now, I just want you to kiss me.” And that was it—that was the moment she broke him. He felt himself shatter, the fear that had hardened inside him like glass breaking into a million tiny pieces. He reached for her, then cupped her head and closed his mouth gently over hers. Immediately, he became drunk on the taste of her, aroused by the feel of her. He wanted to crush her body against his, to feel her heat, her heart. He wanted to bruise her mouth with his kisses and close his hands tight around her arms. He’d come so damn close to losing her, and he couldn’t stand the thought of ever letting her go. But he didn’t—he couldn’t. She was too fragile, and the possibility that he might hurt her—more, again—ate at him. So instead, he littered soft kisses on her face, her neck. He stroked her. Touched her. Hell, he worshipped her. “Dallas?” Tentatively, her fingers brushed his face. He blinked and focused on a space over her shoulder, knowing that he’d come completely undone if he looked into her eyes. “I thought I’d lost you. First, when you walked out. And then—and then—” The words caught in his throat, too horrible to even voice. “Christ, Jane. I can’t lose you.” Gently, her fingertip stroked his lower lip. Even more gently, she took his chin and forced him to look at her. “I’m right here.” “And thank God for that.” Their eyes met and held, and for a moment there was no time, no space, no world that judged them. There was just them. Then she lunged, her mouth closing over his with such firm finality that it both broke the moment and had him laughing. “This is how I want you,” she said, and he answered her silently but enthusiastically, pulling her hard against him, slamming his mouth against hers. Taking. Consuming. Until he was nothing but heat and need, an ache building in him that he couldn’t quench no matter how tight he held her, how hard he kissed her. He was lost in her, drowning in the sensuality of her fingernails digging into his back. Of her teeth claiming his lips. Of the way her pelvis ground hard against his erection. With a low, needful groan, he slid his hands down and grabbed her hips, craving an even closer contact. He tightened his grip, pulled her toward him, then immediately released her and stepped back when she released a soft, sharp, “Oh!” “Jane?” She stood before him, breathing hard. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” He frowned. “I hurt you.” “No. No, I’m fine.” She shook her head, but he knew better. “Dallas, please. I don’t want—” “What?” “Distance.” She dragged her teeth over her lower lip as if she was unsure about how he felt. “Oh, baby. No. Never.” He held out his hand. “Come here.” She cocked her head, then narrowed her eyes. “Where?” “Do you trust me?” “Yes.” The speed of her reply sang in his heart. “Then let me take care of you.” The corner of her mouth twitched. “If you’re thinking about putting me to bed, you can just stop that nonsense right now. I’ve been in a hospital for almost two days. Between boredom and sedatives, I’m all caught up on my sleep.” “I promise, sleep is the last thing on my mind.” That was a little bit of a lie. She’d protest, he knew, but she needed more sleep. Good sleep, not with nurses popping in and out and a sterile bed with the scent of hospital disinfectant permeating the room. She’d sleep, all right. But he intended to make sure she was ready for it. That she would drift under, safe and warm and content in his arms. Gently, he drew her into the bathroom, her favorite room in the apartment. The previous owners had knocked out a wall, turned the small second bedroom into a closet, and used part of that space to make room for a steam shower and an oversize whirlpool tub. The day they’d moved in, Jane had told him this bathroom was a little slice of heaven. He turned the water on, cranking up the heat the way he knew she liked it, then he stood her on the dense, white rug that filled most of the space. “Are you tending me?” Her voice was as teasing as her expression, and it was all he could do not to gather her close and sigh with contentment. Yes, he knew she was still aching and sore. No, they didn’t know who her attacker was. Yes, her birth father was locked in a cell, and Dallas was the one keeping him there. But none of that mattered. Not then. All he cared about—all he could hold in his head—was Jane. That she was alive. That she was his. That she’d come back to him. “Damn right I’m tending you. Now put your hands up,” he added with mock sternness. She complied, and he peeled off her scrub top, delighted to find that she wore nothing beneath it. Her breasts were perfect, round and firm, and as he watched, her nipples tightened and her areolae puckered. He wanted to roll her nipples between his fingers. He wanted to taste her breasts and feel her arch back and moan, her tits hard and hot in his hands as he licked and sucked, taking her so far that she came in his arms simply from the pressure of the desire building between her legs. Not now. Not yet. Instead, he met her eyes. Then he lowered his gaze to her chest, watching it rise and fall as her desire heightened to match his. Her pulse quickened in her throat, another spot that he wanted to lick and tease. Slowly, he reached for the drawstring of her pants. His fingers brushed her abdomen as he did, the touch so light it was almost negligible. It was enough, though, and he felt the shock of that connection all the way down to his cock. He was rock hard and straining against his jeans. And when her pants slid over her hips to the floor—when she stood before him completely naked—he had to fight the battle of his life not to step forward, slide his hand between her thighs, and feel the creamy heat of her arousal. Instead, he simply stood and stared and wanted, his gaze caressing her. Reviewing every curve, every nuance. He knew her body as well as he knew his own, and the bruises he saw on her thighs and hips started a slow burn inside him. He was going to kill whoever did this. No doubt. No question.     sin-series-0-days-banner         julie-j-kenner-author-photo

EXCERPT:   “Use your safewords if you need them, Kenna.” Griffin hesitated only one more second. And then he was on her. His mouth on hers. His tongue sinking deep. His hands in her soft blond waves. The moan she unleashed shot straight to his cock and made him want to wring every moan he’d missed these five long years out of her beautiful, curvy body. “Put your arms around my neck,” he said. When she did, he cupped her ass in his hands and pushed off the couch. “Hang on, little one.” He made for the adjacent door to the play room, but, good as it was, that one kiss hadn’t been nearly enough. Not when he was absofuckinglutely starving. Pinning her to the wall, he dove back in again. Kissing, claiming, devouring. He ground himself against her pussy, the strangled cry she released around his tongue making his balls heavy and full. “I’m not sure you realize what you’re getting into with me, Kenna. Because I’ve missed the hell out of making you come.” “Oh, God,” she rasped. “God can’t save you. Not from me. Not tonight.” He swung open the door, the motion-activated lights coming on as they moved into the play room. Others occasionally used this space, but he used it most. He’d designed and installed the furniture, suspension hooks and shackles, and pulley systems in the room for all different kinds of bondage play, and he’d outfitted the storage cabinets with every possible implement he’d need, too. And he had just the thing in mind, for tonight. “Feet down,” he said. The way she slid down him nearly drove him insane, and then he stepped back and considered her body suit. It was so fucking sexy that he hated to ruin it, but PVC was a bitch to get on and off. “I fucking love and hate that body suit right now,” he said, planting a stern expression on his face. Amusement flashed across her eyes. “Sorry, Sir,” she said, not sounding sorry at all. A thought came to mind and he retrieved a roll of red Kinesio tape from a cabinet. Tearing a length off he said, “I’m going to allow you the suit. This time. But I need you to tell me where the prosthesis ends and your arm begins. Can you do that for me?” “Yes,” she said, lifting her arm as he moved in. “The stump extends about two inches below my elbow.” “Here?” He held the tape over the black of her suit. When she nodded, he gently applied the red marking around her forearm. “Once we start, you have carte blanche—for tonight—to speak. I want you vocal. I want you telling me how I’m making you feel.” He nailed her with a stare. “Don’t let me hurt you. Don’t even let me get close.” “I won’t, Master Griffin. I can handle this.” “I doubt don’t it, Kenna, but I will cut the scene if I have even an inkling that I’m causing unintentional pain that you’re not owning up to.” He arched a brow. “Are we clear?” She gave a fast nod. “Good. Then spread your feet and put your hands at your side. Now.” Her ready compliance fucking slayed him. After all this time, it really did. “Mmm. Very good. Now, don’t move a muscle unless I tell you to. Because the scene begins right now.”

REVIEW-
5 STARS!!!

This book.
I loved this freaking book. Meghan Quinn has written something that is so incredibly wonderful that I don’t think I will be able to fully describe just how absolutely amazing it was. I thought that Stroked was the shit, but Stroked Long? Freaking phenomenal!
Ruby and Bodi … sigh. They couldn’t be more different, but that’s what makes them so perfect for one another. Ruby is bright and colorful and all over the place. Bodi is all white and clinically clean with a rigid personality and OCD anxiety. I truly felt for Bodi. He has so much emotional turmoil in his past that he is letting dictate his future, and it’s heartbreaking. He can be very awkward as he hasn’t really had any relationships before, so everything with Ruby is completely foreign to him. I don’t think there was any way that I couldn’t love him. He was just… perfect. Broken, but perfect.
“This woman, she fucking changes everything. She makes me feel, she fills me with oxygen…”
As Ruby and Bodi’s friendship starts and evolves into something more, Ruby doesn’t know the extent of Bodi’s issues because he hides them from her. She doesn’t understand that aspect of him, so when he reacts out of the norm she is able to help him, but at the same time doesn’t know when she pushes his limits. Theirs was an unexpectedly highly emotional relationship, full of many ups and downs.
It doesn’t help that Bodi is a swimmer training for the Olympics in Rio, and Ruby is trying to make ends meet with her art job and just got a second job with the horribly atrocious Bellini Chambers. (Side note: Looovvvveeedddd the reaction to Bellini’s attitude and ridiculous demands in this book! We got to see aspects that we weren’t able to in Stroked and I was sooo happy! She is the freaking worst!) Bodi and Ruby are still learning each other and with Bodi the way that he is and as this is his first real relationship, there was bound to be turmoil. Theirs ended up being slightly worse than other couples out there, but they were able to persevere and get their HEA.
In between Ruby and Bodi’s emotional journey, we still got to experience Meghan Quinn’s utter ridiculousness. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again, I have no idea how she comes up with this shit! It is so over the top ridiculous! I love it and laugh constantly while reading her books. I felt that Ruby was a little bit of Meghan while I was reading.
“That should be an Olympic sport: Sausage stuffing… It starts with a line of flaccid penises, the gun goes off and it’s a race to see who can not only get erect first, but who can stuff their sausage in a pair of Spandex and then do twenty jumping jacks without their penis flying out. I would one hundred percent watch that.”
How does she even come up with that??? Ruby was so utterly awesome. Bodi was absolute perfection in a damaged kind of way. I fell completely in love with him, but the both of them together? I can’t even begin to explain the rightness of it all. I am looking forward to Stroked Hard, but I don’t think that Meghan Quinn will be able to top this book. Stroked Long is officially my favorite of anything that she has written, and I’ve just about read all of hers. This book…  is the shit.

ALSO AVAILABLE!

STROKED by Meghan Quinn
Released: July 19, 2016
Cover Designer: Murphy Rae

BLURB:
Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.

His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water.

On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.

I hate to admit it, but I’m head over heels infatuated with him.

There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers.

What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.

About the Author:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
