Although this is a novella, we get all the emotions and feels from a regular full length novel. I love Lauren Blakely's writing and the way that she draws you into her stories and captures you from beginning to end. This is one of those stories that can definitely be made into a Hallmark movie!
Penelope, Penny, was in Spain and meet a man that swept her off her feet. When it was time for Penny to return to the US, they thought that Gabriel would be right behind her and they even had a meeting place and time that they were going to see each other again. When Gabriel did not show up, Penny was heartbroken. Should Penny try and contact him or is that just prolonging theinevitable? Penny decided to just let it go and try and move on, but she never really did.
10 years later when Penny is looking for a catering business to help with an event that she is planning, she immediately recognizes Gabriel, but is it the same for Gabriel? The connection that these two had those few days they were together in Spain was something magical, but after all theyears and all the hurt, will they be bale to go back to what they used to have? You have to read this novella and find out what ends up happening between Gabriel and Penny. I don't want to give away anything in this special story because reading it and experiencing everything with thecharacters as it happens is what makes this story so magical and intriguing.
