About Confessions of a Former Puck Bunny:
Confession #1: I used to be a puck bunny, but after a hockey player broke my heart, I gave up all things hockey. Now I'm just focused on finding a way to pass my math class so I can graduate college. Confession #2: Ryder "Ox" Maddox's deep, sexy voice sends fuzzy tingles through my entire body, and I'm powerless to stop it. Which is a big problem since the hot, surprisingly funny hockey player is my new math tutor. Confession #3: I can't stop thinking about how ripped Ryder is from all his hockey training, and how fun it'd be to cross lines with him. Confession #4: I kissed a hockey player and I liked it. Confession #5: If I'm not careful, I might relapse and fall for Ryder, and then I'll be totally pucked.Get Your Copy Today!

Review - 4.5 Stars
I love Cindi Madsen’s Taking Shot’s series. I have read every single one and can’t get enough of them. The storylines flow, the characters are real and have some depth to them. Each book follows a different couple, but the characters do crossover. Yes, this could be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend the previous books. When I saw this was about Lindsay I knew I had to get it. I wanted her story after meeting her in Hudson’s story.
Lindsay Rivera is a former puck bunny who had her heart destroyed by a hockey player. She spent the first years of her college days with meaningless hookups and getting any kind of attention from guys, especially hockey players. After her devastating heartbreak, Lindsay decides to turn her life around, she realizes she might just be turning into her mother. She doesn’t want to rely on men for her happiness or her security. She wants to be her own person! No more guys or NO more hockey players to be exact, I mean a girls got to have a little fun. Lindsay devotes her life to her classes and the newspaper. She is almost done with her last semester, but something might just stop her from graduating...Math! She needs a tutor and needs one fast. Only when she realizes that Ryder is the one she understands, she needs to put some ground rules down. She will not fall for the delicious man, she will not fall for the delicious man. She is over hockey players, even if this one smells so good and his voices sends tingles down her body. Can Lindsay resist Ryder? Or will she get her heart broken again?
Ryder “Ox” Maddox is a starting defenseman for the hockey team. He’s smart, sweet, and of course drop dead gorgeous. Ryder has had a crush on Lindsay ever since that fateful day in the newsroom. He wants her and he won’t stop until he gets her. Only she doesn’t want him or at least tries to act like it, but he knows she’ll cave to his ways. He is persistent! When he finds out that she needs help in math, that is just the right door he needs to break down the walls. Ryder is a math genius and offers his help. Lindsay agrees, but its strictly tutoring, nothing else. Will they cross the boundaries??
I loved this!! It was a great friends to lovers romance. Throw in some heavy confessions...lol. I really enjoyed how they seem to complete one another. Ryder and Lindsay both opened up to each other and in doing so made them understand one another better. I felt their connection and I liked that Ryder knew when to ease up and not scare Lindsay away. He didn’t give up, even though she made it impossible at times. I also really liked that Ryder accepted Lindsay’s faults, her previous hookups and didn’t make her feel like a slut. Ryder came from money, but you wouldn’t have guessed that. He doesn’t come across as a spoiled rich guy. He has parents who basically used him as a boomerang between each other, so he has some issues there. His dad doesn’t think he’s good enough and his mom wants to use him to further her political career. But with Lindsay he can just be himself, he doesn’t feel any pressure. They were absolutely adorable together and I was giddy when they finally truly see each other.
Cindi Madsen weaves a great story and has incredible characters. I adore this series and her as an author. Her writing isn’t over the top steamy, but has just the right amount. Its subtle yet, sexy. This series is a great NA sports romance and I am fast becoming addicted to it. It has some humor, steam, and just the right amount of angst. I highly recommend this and the rest of the series. I want more!!

About Cindi Madsen:
Cindi Madsen is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance and young adult novels. She sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting, revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she’d be even crazier. She has way too many shoes, but can always find a reason to buy a pretty new pair, especially if they’re sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music and dancing and wishes summer lasted all year long. She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely NOT all year long) with her husband and three children.
