Scoring her by Max Monroe was the most epic finale of a series that I have read. Lately, I have been a little let down by other series endings and was so ecstatic as I finished reading this novella that it ended exactly the way that it should have. I don’t think Max Monroe is capable of writing a story that is anything less than 5 stars!
The gang are on a “work” vacation in the Bahamas (that Thatch, Cassie, & baby Ace crash) and there’s fluffing craziness going around! I loved that there were multiple chapters that focused on each of the main characters. It was a perfect balance to an already perfect batch of characters. It was everything we have come to expect from this series and then some!
I absolutely loved the fact that we got to see Thatch and Cassie as parents. As wacky and crazy as they are, I think that they are going to be wonderful parents. I loved Thatch’s words of wisdom that he would bestow on his little son. Not too early to start teaching him what he needs to know to be a man- Thatch style.
We got to see Kline and Georgia and just how deep their relationship was. It wasn’t all hearts and flowers, it was real and deep and fierce. Just like them. But no fear, they get their happily ever after.
Wes and Winnie. I adored their story, and Scoring Her is an extension of their story. They got their perfect ending as well. An epic perfect ending that fit everything that is them. Wes is the best step dad ever and I loved seeing their interactions.
Each couples happy ending was a perfect fit for how different they each were. I loved getting this extra insight to them all. It was like this epic epilogue. Freaking fantastic. I don’t think I can express anymore just how great this story was. I was reading part of it while standing in line and people probably thought I was crazy since I would randomly start laughing and had this huge geeky grin on my face.
This entire series had the perfect mix of banter, laughter, sex, and seriousness. It was the perfect combo of all of my favorite aspects of a story. I’m sad to say goodbye to these wonderful couples, but know that there will be more from Max Monroe.
They have a reader for life… Life. That’s a freakin long time- and I will still look forward to anything of theirs every single time.
