Another winner for Tia Louise! The Dirty Dealers series has
capticated me since the beginning. Logan was always an intriguing character and
when I found out he was getting his own book, I was ecstatic! This definitely book
lived up to the series!
This books is full of action, twists and turns, and talk
about sexy times…Swoon. The author does a fantastic job of making the books just gritty enough to have a
lot of depth, but still keeps it light and funny. The characters are complex
and even though they appear to be one thing, sometimes, they really surprise
you. Though, this is not always a good thing. The author clearly knows her
characters inside and out.
Logan is sexy as hell. He’s loyal, strong, and when he gives
his heart, he gives it all, and to someone who will hold it forever. His
history with Kass put him in a bit of a tough situation when she reenters his
life. He has to balance hi obligations to the crown with his need to be with
and protect Kass. He is so easy to love. The perfect combination of sweet and
delicious alpha. Over and over, he displays an incredible capacity for love,
not only for Kass, who is forever testing his ability to forgive, but for the
family he is sworn to protect.
Kass has had it rough. In fact, that’s an understatement.
The road has led her to a dark and dangerous place, working with a soulless criminal.
Her life is in constant jeopardy and yet, it gets worse. She’s blackmailed into
spying on the one man she’s ever loved. He is all in and she is consumed with
guilt. Kass is a very strong character, she is a survivor and even though she
could arguably be considered a villain in the story, I couldn’t help rooting
for her. I desperately wanted Logan to save her but every time I thought they
would escape the danger, I was
constantly thrown into another state of worry, freaking out over what would
happen next!
It was great to revisit the characters from the first two books
in the series. I always hate saying goodbye, so meeting them again in another
book is awesome.
I eagerly await the next book in the series and shelve this
5 star book on the reread shelf!

Logan
Her ankle turns, and Kass starts to fall. One swift move, and I scoop her up, into my arms.
“Oh!” she cries, gripping my biceps.
Her soft body is pressed against me, and her face is right at my chin. Her breath comes in quick pants, causing her breasts to rise and fall just beneath the thin material of her dress. With her sweater pushed back, I can see she’s not wearing a bra, and all the lust I’ve been fighting shoots straight to my cock.
I know she feels it. Her lids lower, and her eyes are trained on my mouth. Her lips part, and I can just see the tips of her white teeth when she speaks, low and breathless. “Thank you.”
Desire overrules my brain, and I don’t stop myself. I pull her to me, covering her mouth with mine. It’s not a gentle kiss. It’s rough and punishing. It’s all the anger and the hurt and the worry she’s put me through these last days.
