Blurb
Almost forty-one-year-old Annabelle Morris, wife to multi-billionaire record label executive Charles Morris of Zenith Productions, and mother of two is at a crossroads in her life.
Separated from her husband after walking in on him having sex in the public restroom of a charity event she was hosting, she has arrived on the island of St. John alone and rejected, determined to re-evaluate her life and her marriage. She's tired of being her husband’s showpiece while he pretends she doesn't exist. She's tired of trying to make their marriage work for the sake of their two teenage boys.

When she meets Johnny Lightning, a sexy but mysterious piano-playing, bearded sailor, she is tempted to break vows she has never before broken. But Johnny is much younger than her and seems to be hiding more than a few secrets of his own.
From the laid-back sandy beaches of the Caribbean to the elite circles of Dallas high society, Annabelle is forced to make critical choices.

Is a chance for happiness worth the risk of giving up the life she has always known?
Worth jeopardizing her own and possibly even her children's future?
In the end, will she stay on her present course or brave a new and uncharted one?

Find Me, Remember Me, and Keep Me is a full and complete novel in three separate parts.
A standalone Tempest spin-off.

Find Me-5 stars!!
This is a great quick read. I have to say though, I am excited that there are three parts in this series because if it was just one, I would be upset. Lol. Johnny and Annabelle are great characters that are well developed and draw you in from the very beginning.

Annabelle is a middle aged woman that has just taken a trip to an island so that she can reevaluate her life and figure out what she is going to do from here on out. She is the mother of two boys ages 15 and 18. Annabelle is the current wife of a very wealthy record label executive, but she isn't really. Annabelle caught him with another woman awhile ago and she has just been a fixture to satisfy the title of wife and that is it. Her husband never pays any attention to her and leaves her with a very low self esteem. This is why Annabelle needs to get away and decide what she needs to do.

When Annabelle arrives at the place she is going to be staying on the island, she meets a guy that takes her to the home her friend Claire says is her brothers and where she will be staying while she is there. Annabelle is exhausted and ready to crash but she calls her boys first and finds herself falling asleep on the patio soon after that. The next thing Annabelle knows, the guy is back and talking to her again. He finally introduces himself and says his name is Johnny. Annabelle is shocked that this is her best friends brother, she thought that he was gone. When Johnny apologizes for the way that he acted the previous night, the two of them seem to hit it off immediately. Johnny is very comfortable with Annabelle and shows her around the place. The next day these two go scuba diving and the sparks are still flying between them.

No one can deny the attraction between Johnny and Annabelle. Annabelle is older than Johnny though and she wonders if that will make a difference. Annabelle craves the attention that Johnny gives her and loves the way that he treats her. This is a steamy read that will leave you fanning yourself. Will Annabelle realize what she wants and what she needs to do or will she go back to her old life where she pretends to be the happy wife? You need to read this one! I can't wait for the next part in this series!!

Remember Me-5 stars!!
This story is a continuation of Annabelle in Find Me. I was so ready to read more about Annabelle and Johnny that I immediately started this one as soon as I finished the first one. Michelle Mankin has a way of keeping you turning the pages to see which way the story is going to go for her characters.

Annabelle has decided in this part to give her husband that she has been separated from another shot at them getting along after she found him cheating on her. Annabelle's heart is not in the relationship anymore and she has no feelings for her still husband. All Annabelle knows is that one man stole her heart and she wishes she could go back to him, but will not risk it.

Annabelle is planning a benefit with her brother to help the wounded warriors and her husband's recording company has agreed to provide the entertainment. Annabelle never really knew what Johnny did because she only meet him for a few days and that was it. When she starts to piece things together the night of the actual benefit, she is shocked at who the entertainment really is. Will Annabelle be able to contain herself or will all the feelings overtake her?? You need to read this second part of the series to find out. I can't wait to read part three now!!

Keep Me-5 stars!!
I was so eager to get to this last part of the trilogy! I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen after Johnny surprised Annabelle by performing at the benefit she had put together with her brother. I just knew that things were going to explode with Charles being there as well.

Well, let me just say that I have been all over the place with my emotions while reading this one. I have no idea how Michelle Mankin managed to pack so much into such a short trilogy but this one is packed full of goodness. Annabelle is taken back when she sees Johnny again. She is rendered speechless for sure. So, what is Annabelle going to do now? She has been trying to make at it with Charles for their boys, but is she going to be able to keep that front up? When Charles does everything he can to try and make Johnny think that Annabelle is set on making it work with him and is even pregnant with his baby, Johnny does the noble thing and leaves. He thinks that Annabelle has made up her mind. But was that just Charles talking for Annabelle of was that really what Annabelle wanted? You need to read this one to find out!

I loved the devotion that Johnny showed to Annabelle by making the trip to see her. Not until later does Annabelle really understand how big of a deal this was for Johnny. She can not comprehend how she means so much to someone that they would take those measures just to see her because of how Charles has always treated her. She was just a filler for a position for him. I am so proud of Annabelle for figuring out who she wanted to be and who she clearly wanted to be with. This is such a great read. I am hooked on Michelle Mankin now and can't wait to see what she has in store for us as readers in the near future!

Excerpt
Are you Mrs. Morris?” The driver, a heavily bearded man wearing a Quiet Mon Pub ball cap, peered at me through his wraparound sunglasses. In his late twenties or early thirties, he looked much younger than I had imagined a caretaker to be.
I nodded and moved toward the jeep.
“You ready to go?” He dipped his shaded gaze slowly, sliding it over me. “Or do you need some more time at the jewelry store so you can find a more expensive watch with bigger diamonds?”
“No, I’m ready.” I frowned at the snide comment that implied I was as status conscious and shallow as all those social-climbers I had such contempt for. It was an unkind and unwarranted remark. He didn’t really know me. How could he presume to after only one glance? Then again, I looked at myself every day in the mirror and hardly knew who I was anymore.
“You’re late,” he complained. “You’re lucky I decided to swing back by the dock one more time, especially since the ferry’s been in for over a half hour. Still I wouldn’t have wanted to miss that fancy dress and the sun reflecting off that flashy watch of yours. Get in.” He gestured with his chin toward the passenger side. Moving my bag to one arm, I grabbed the handle and yanked, but the door wouldn’t open.
“Probably used to your chauffeur opening the door for you, huh?” He raised his bearded chin and lifted his shaded eyes to the heavens as if petitioning the island gods for patience. “It usually works better if you unlock it first, fancy face. The power feature is broken. You’ll have to do it manually.” His voice was a low baritone, but the insinuation was as unpleasant as his lack of manners.
I blew the humidity dampened curls out of my eyes and did as he suggested. “Why even bother to lock it?” I grumbled once I was in the seat, twisting around to grab the seatbelt.
“Because hardly anyone ever sits there,” he answered absently, glancing in the side mirror. He scanned a quick look for traffic and then pulled away from the curb.
I can certainly understand why, I thought sarcastically as I settled into my seat. He meticulously steered the vehicle around the busy shopping area alongside the dock, and I took advantage of his distraction to look him over. He wasn’t bad. Well, at least from what I could see of his face underneath his untrimmed beard, thick mustache, and long layers of unkempt midnight black hair barely contained by the ball cap. He reminded me of Pierce Brosnan. Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, to be more specific. Well, if I wanted to get really technical about it, Pierce Brosnan as James Bond in to Die Another Day after he had been captured and tortured for fourteen months by the North Koreans without the benefit of a hairstylist or a razor.
In other words…quite possibly hot.
Maybe.
But who could tell what was lurking under all that scrunge?
Maybe instead of Pierce Brosnan, the guy was actually Steve Buschemi. I chanced a second look to be sure…and felt a delicious, rippling heat along my spine.
Definitely not Steve Buschemi under there.
