Opposites attract in this seductive novel from the author of Against the Cage (“Funny, steamy, scorching.”—Toni Aleo), with a chiseled MMA fighter falling for a single mom who could use a real man in her corner.

Working two jobs to support her infant daughter is harder than anything Penny Richards has ever done, but it sure beats living under the rules of her stepfather, a television preacher who demands a picture-perfect family. And if Penny hadn’t struck out on her own, she never would have met Travis Calhoun. The intensely physical heavyweight brawler has a way of drawing out her wild side. But Travis lives fast, with no responsibilities—and that just isn’t for Penny.

Most of the women in Travis’s circle wear tight clothes, high heels, and tons of makeup—not pearls or plaid headbands. But once he works past Penny’s inhibitions, Travis discovers a kindred spirit who longs to trust someone with her body, and her secrets. Still, Travis can’t help but wonder if this rich girl is just slumming it before she returns to her privileged life. Now it’s up to Penny to prove that she wants her hard-edged, hard-loving fighter just the way he is.

You all don't want to miss this....it was beautiful and perfect!  ❤❤❤

Ok ok ok...so I'm a major Sidney Halston fan.  I am so sad to see this series ending.  I fell in love with the series when book 2 came out and had to go back to read book 1.   From then on I stalked Sidney and fell more in love with her characters.  Each book is a standalone, but I highly recommend reading all of them.  Each couple is different and bring new laughs and challenges.  You can't help but love each book.

"Don't you want to kiss me too?"
"More than my next breath," he murmured.

Penny is running.  She's taken her two day old daughter away from her prison.  The life she had, didn't allow her to experience anything.  She was pretty much kept under lock and key from her famous minister stepfather.  She wouldn't give up her baby...she was done with the controlling ways of her life.  Penny was going to be free and hoped trouble didn't follow her.  But then trouble bumps into her in the form of a sexy, confident, cowboy...Travis Calhoun

Travis/Cowboy is sexy, cocky, sweet and funny.  He's an MMA fighter for Worth the Fight Academy.  He's your typical single guy who loves the ladies.  But he stayed away from relationships because of his upbringing.  However, his mind is blown by the sweetest, best kiss of his life.  This woman has invaded his thoughts and he's intrigued by her.  He's never wanted to possess or protect a woman, until Penny.

I loved the banter between these two.  Penny is so naive, awkward and a little closed off.  Travis is on his way to being a star for the HBO series Fight Night.  Penny is a little apprehensive about being with Travis because of this and because of his take on children.  Penny has a secret that's about blow Travis's mind even more.
I loved seeing Travis all awkward and trying to process everything.  He truly liked Penny and felt worthy around her.  She soothed him and he didn't want to mess up with her or Belle.  He was freaking scared and I found that endearing.  This little girl and Penny were opening things inside of him that he isn't use to.   He just didn't know how to feel about it because he never experienced that with his mother.  The only person he ever felt anything for was his sister JL.  Would Travis be able to give these two girls up or were they here to stay?

"You are worthy of love, Travis.  Don't sell yourself short.  Don't let the place you grew up in define you."

The chemistry between them was sizzling.  That first night was explosive and I loved the sexual tension these two have been experiencing for the past year.  I was rooting for them from the first time they bump into each other.  Penny needs stability and love.  Travis needs to feel love and acceptance.  I felt these two were puzzle pieces that fit perfectly.

"I can be intense and consuming.  I'll want all of you."

Belle I adored her.  She's absolutely adorable.  Seriously how could Travis not fall in love with this little girl.  She has me the first time she
"I love you so much my little Belle."
"Wuv you, Twavis."

This was filled with angst, obstacles, finding happiness, and love.  Sidney wrote two characters that clicked.  The story was funny, sweet and sexy as hell.  I am so sad too see this end and yes I shed some tears.  These characters have been a part of my life for almost two years.  Sidney swept me away with her delicious heartfelt stories.  I have been lucky enough to be a part of this series.  Sidney put her heart, sweat and brilliant mind into each story and character.   What a wondering ending to a phenomenal series....thank you Sidney, thank you!  Congrats!

Don't miss ANY of the Worth the Fight titles

USA Today bestselling author, Sidney Halston lives her life with one simple rule: "Just Do It"--Nike. And that's exactly what she did.

After working hard as an attorney, Sidney picked up a pen for the first time at thirty years old to begin her dream of writing. Having never written anything other than very exciting legal briefs, she found an outlet for her imaginative, romantic side and wrote Seeing Red. That first pen stroke sealed the deal, and she fell in love with writing. Sidney lives in South Florida with her husband and children. She loves her family above all else, and reading follows a close second. When she's not writing, you can find her reading and reading and reading. She's a reader first and a writer second. When she's not writing or reading, her life is complete and utter chaos, trying to balance family life with work and writing (and reading). But she wouldn't have it any other way.
