I’ll go ahead and say it…before
this, I had never read an Ella Fox book. I know, I know, I’m behind the
times. But I had to say, I’m so very glad I did. It was short, and
short usually isn’t my thing, but I loved it. For the hour or so that it
took for me to read, I was taking into another world, and it was exactly what I
needed.
I loved that this book was light
and although there was some sad elements to it, it was still an easy
read. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good ugly cry book, but sometimes it’s
nice to have something that lifts you up. I was astounded that I could
fall in love with a couple so quickly. It’s truly an art to be able to
make that happen in a matter of less than a hundred pages.
Exton stole my heart from the
second he found Arden. I mean really, it was crazy. He met her, and
suddenly I was rooting for him, and I couldn’t stop thinking how I wish he were
real. And Arden, I adored her. I mean, she had the weakness that
I’m not always a fan of, but it wasn’t annoying in this case. She grew
strong, proving that it’s possible to overcome anything life throws at
you.
It’s hard for me to talk about this
book without wanting to tell everyone everything about it. But, since I’m
not one for spoilers, I’ll leave it for y'all to read on your own. But
just a warning, when you do, you’ll fall in love too. Five stars for Miss
Ella Fox and her amazing Strictly Temporary Volume 2.

Leaning across the bed, I grab a
condom from the side table and hand it to her.

way.
