I love Sawyer Bennett. She writes dirty, sexy, and sweet. She'll have your panties melting and have you swooning hard! I love her Off Side and Cold Fury Series. This was my first book in the Last Call Series and let me tell you I was not lost at all. They are all standalones, so you do not have to read the previous ones to understand each book. Will it give you some insight in to the characters as they all show up, sure but not necessary. I have all the books in this series, but have not read them...I know right...dumb!
Casey loved her! Miss Queen of One Night Stands finally meets her king. Casey is beautiful, but not cocky about it. She uses her sexuality as her strength. She goes after rich men who are so self absorbed because she doesn't believe in love. Sure she loves her family and friends, but relationship wise...No! She is up front about what she wants and that's no strings attached. She knows how these men see her and so she puts them in their place before they do that to her. However, deep down she still feels like crap about herself. What she needs is a jolt, a man who will appreciate Casey for Casey. One who will break down her walls and see through her fear....one who is dirty, sweet and dangerous... Will she meet her match?

He decides to ride cross country with his friend Kyle to NC to see his daughter Zoey who just moved there with her mother. When he arrives to spend time with his daughter his ex puts a kink in the plan and has to wait. So he goes with Kyle to spend a few days relaxing at the beach. What he doesn't expect is find the girl of his dreams...

She's scared and holy hell I would be too.... Tenn is fascinated by Casey. She's got confidence, but not cocky or self absorbed. She seems smart, uses her confidence to get what she wants and she seems independent. But he sees she has secrets behind her eyes, what secrets could this fantasy woman be holding? Will Casey let her guard down? Will she see that maybe love is worth it?
I loved watching Tenn with Casey. He was dominant, but yet sweet and protective. He was taking small baby steps around Casey, because he knew how skittish she is with relationships. Casey insides get all twisted and then a sense of calm comes over when she's with Tenn. he does things to her that have her considering major life changes....a relationship. He makes things better, he makes Casey better. He is slowly breaking her boundaries and she's letting him...she's at peace with it....Trust is what she is handing over.
I can honestly say this is probably one of my favorite books by Sawyer. I will go back a read the rest of the Last Call series, but out of all her other books I've read, I fell in love with Tenn and Casey right away. This was a dirty, but yet beautiful story about trust, love and finally finding ones self. Keep knocking them out of the park Sawyer!!! 5 Skaken Stars!!!
