Discovering Delilah Synopsis:

After the death of her parents on the day of her college graduation, Delilah Armstrong thought she could finally follow her heart and come out to her closest friends, but the guilt of going against her parents’ beliefs haunts her. The feelings she has for her best friend, Ashley, are stronger than anything she’s felt before, but Delilah has never even kissed a girl, and fear stops her at every turn.

Ashley Carver promised herself that she would never again date another girl who wasn’t out, but that was before she met intoxicatingly sweet and sexy Delilah.

When another girl offers to teach Delilah the ropes, it changes Delilah’s whole world and gives her the courage to go after the only girl she really wants. But coming out isn’t as easy as Delilah imagined, and moving past her parents’ death and the feelings of guilt she is left with is even harder. The intense passion between Ashley and Delilah is too strong to deny, but coming together means risking everything.

Discovering Delilah is an edgy, evocative, romantic story of friendship, family, and the courage to love.

Review - Discovering Delilah - 4 Stars

I couldn't contain my excitement when this book showed up on my kindle. I had been waiting for this since I heard about it! And I definitely wasn't disappointed.
It was refreshing for me to read a lesbian romance. I'm a big advocate in the LBGTQ Community and, for me, it’s a big step to see this theme in other genres besides erotica. The way it was written felt realstic and I was completely enamored by the characters. There wasn't a moment where I missed having a book boyfriend to read about. I loved being able to have two book girlfriends and to see their story unfold. It's unique too, you know, to read about to lives being so strongly impacted by their love but for so many different reasons than you normally read about.
I devoured this. And when I wasn't reading it I was thinking about it. I could picture Ashley and Delilah in my head so clearly, too which for me is no easy feat.
So much respect goes out to Melissa Foster for writing such a realistic, beautiful. And captivating romance.

About Catching Cassidy (Harborside Nights, bk1)

Wyatt Armstrong never imagined that instead of celebrating his college graduation, he and his twin sister would be dealing with the death of their parents.  Then again, Wyatt had never been one to think past tomorrow. He heads to their summer home in Harborside, Massachusetts, with his best friend Cassidy Lowell in tow, to deal with his parents’ death and to try to figure out his next step.

Six foot two, infuriatingly handsome, and flirtatious, Wyatt Armstrong has always been there for Cassidy, helping her pass her classes and fend off unwanted advances, while driving her insane with his one-night stands—but that’s what best friends are for, isn’t it? Having each other’s backs. There was never any doubt that she would accompany him to his family’s summer home—but she never expected to begin seeing Wyatt as more than a friend. Or has she been ignoring her feelings all along?

It’s impossible to ignore the sizzling heat between them as Wyatt and Cassidy get even closer, but Cassidy knows Wyatt’s past, and she has a real job to begin in the fall. Wyatt may be a sure thing for the summer, but Cassidy needs more. For the first time in his life, Wyatt is forced to look toward the future if he doesn’t want to lose the one woman who’s shared his past and owns his heart.

Review- Catching Cassidy - 5 Stars

I am in love with this new series and all the characters in it. I grew to love Wyatt and Cassidy in this one, even though Wyatt was a playboy at first. The way that Melissa writes is so enthralling that you never want to put the book down. I can never get enough of Melissa's books.

Wyatt and Delilah are friends with Cassidy and have been their whole lives. Growing up, Cassidy felt like their mom was more of a mom to her than her own. When an unfortunate tragedy strikes Wyatt and Delilah, Cassidy feels the pain just as much as they do. Cassidy wants to be there for Wyatt and Delilah because they are so close, but strong feelings for Wyatt leave Cassidy questioning what is going on in their relationship. Cassidy and Wyatt both feel the pull towards each other and wonder why these feelings are coming out now and never have before.

Cassidy helps Wyatt at their families bar and when feelings that are too strong for either one of them to ignore surface again, they both realize that it is time for them to talk through what they want to do as far as a relationship goes. I love the way that Wyatt values the friendship that he and Cassidy have. Wyatt makes sure that both he and Cassidy are sure about a relationship beyond friendship before they pursue anything further.

With a looming decision for Cassidy to make with the job offer in NY, my heart was breaking for her to have to choose between the job and Wyatt. I am so glad that she made the decision that she did. (Not going to give it away.) This story does have a happy ending for these two and I can't wait to see if we see more of them and what becomes of their relationship in the next books in the series. This story just flowed so freely and I loved it!!
