Shut
the front door....Thank you finally questions are answered and some are
doozies! If you haven't read the first two books you need to or else I
think you will be lost. I started this before reading the first books and
was like ...umm what's going on. So I went back and read them and
everything makes sense now. This book is Amy's Brother Chad's POV.
Chad
is trying to again protect his sister Amy, but he finds himself in a
predicament. The only one who can help him is this gorgeous brunette
woman named Gia. But should he trust her...he trusts no one. By
trusting no one this has allowed him to remain alive and safe, but also alone.
Just the way he likes it or is it?
Can
he get over his guilt or will revenge still consume him?
Gia
is a secretary for Sheridan. He is the man who is out to get Chad and
Amy. Chad has something that he wants and he will stop at nothing to get
it....even murder. Gia has her own secrets and lies and she makes a snap
decision to go with her gut and help Chad. Now with Chad they are in a
run for their lives, but was it worth it? Will they make it out alive?
Will he find out her secrets?
The
chemistry between Chad and Gia is exciting! There is some sexual tension
and soon they can't stop themselves. Even though they have a mutual hate
for each other, they have to rely on each other. Do they really hate each
other or are they feeling something that they don't expect to feel? Is
Gia who she says she is or is she a plant to get Chad to give up the treasure?
Will Chad and Amy finally get their revenge on who killed their parents?
This
is a fast paced, intense story that will leave you gripping your chair!
Of course you see a Amy, Liam and others. When you think you have
something figured out, you're wrong! I didn't see a few things and I love that
in a story.
Ok
so here are my reasons for not five stars. I felt the transition of who
is speaking were a little unclear. I had a hard time a few times figuring
out who was talking. I would have liked Gia's POV too. I also felt
that the ending felt a tiny bit rushed. We don't know exactly what
happens with Gia and Chad. Maybe we find out more in book four about
them....I want a little bit more. Overall the story is good and it's a
great read! I'm looking forward to Unbroken to get my HEA for this
family! 4 Stars!

I stare at her. She stares back at me, and a battle of
wills ensues, crackling with challenge that slowly shifts to something darker,
hotter, and I reply with a low, rough tone. “Maybe I’ve changed my mind,” I
murmur, and suddenly I’m staring at her lips, her full, kissable, tempting
lips. A mix of adrenaline and lust rushes through me, barely contained. My
mouth lowers, my need to lose myself in this moment, in this woman a fierce
beast that does not want to be ignored.
“Don’t,” she whispers urgently.
“Don’t what?” I ask, lingering a breath away from
touching her face, so close I can almost taste her.
“Kiss me again. Because I’ll kiss you back, and we’ll
both hate me for it.”
She’s right. But I still want to kiss her.
“Please,” she whispers.
“Please kiss you? Please tie you up and fuck you like
you’ve never been fucked? Please make you come so many times you’ll never
forget who you fucked if you fuck me over?”
“Please don’t do any of those things.”
“Because you don’t want me to?”
“I already told you why. You’ll hate me later. And
I’ll hate me for giving you the chance.”
“And what about me? Will you hate me?”
“I don’t have a reason to hate you, Chad. I don’t know
you.”
“But you want me.”
“I don’t know the right answer to that.”
“The truth will set you free.”
“The truth can’t set you free if no one believes you.”
