I stumbled across this book by accident and took a chance. I ended up reading it, and then when I finished, I went back to the beginning and started again!

          Bea is the narrator of the story and being in her head is hilarious. Her best friend, Tilly, is a hoot too. Together, they had me chuckling through a lot of the book. Her quippy banter with Daniel is witty and fun. My only issue with Bea is her pessimism. I understand that long distance relationships are hard, and that they almost never work. However, she just gives up right away. You’d think she could be just a little more optimistic and give Daniel a chance to figure it out. However, she is still a really cute, fun character.

Daniel…omg, Daniel. He is handsome, funny, smart, and rich. Who could resist that?!? Daniel has some alpha male tendencies, but he is more a smooth lover than rough and tumble. He frequently made me melt right into a puddle. He can have a dirty mouth from time to time (hot!), and then says things that are incredibly sweet and romantic (yum!).

I had a great time reading this book. It was funny, sexy, and hot! You’ll never look at desert the same way again…
