I’ve been following Brooke and Jett’s story from the beginning and it’s been a crazy ride! J.C. Reed has incredible talent for mixing steamy romance with mystery and intrigue. I thought I had some of the answers figured out and holy hell was I wrong!!

Brooke and Jett are such complex characters. My emotions towards them twist and turn as much as the story. Sometimes I want to scream at Brooke and smack her upside the head. Other times, I feel her heart ache and I understand what’s behind her actions. Jett is certainly not above these reactions either. If he would be open and honest with Brooke, they would avoid so much of their pain. And yet, it is his mysteriousness and sexy confidence that draw you in and make you envious of Brooke for having his love and attraction.

The story is a rollercoaster and will keep you guessing. J.C. Reed creates a web of action and secrecy and passion. As usual, Brooke and Jett have a passion that burns up the pages of the book and practically singes the reader.

There is so much of me that can’t wait to see Brooke and Jett get their happy ending, but at the same time, I know it will mean saying goodbye. Both the Surrender Your Love series and the No Exceptions series are on my re-read list, which means they are a resounding 5 stars! J.C. Reed is a 1-click author for me and I’m waiting desperately to press that button on the rest of Brooke and Jett’s story!
