Sucked Into Love
by Rochelle Paige

Blog Tour Sept. 29th- Oct. 8th

Blurb:

sucked into love ebook (3).jpgNo woman ever expects to meet the man of her dreams at her bachelorette party...

It's just Jocelyn's luck that she meets her match at the fake bachelorette party her best friend throws for her. She knows better than to get pulled into any of Cee-Cee's antics. It must have been sheer exhaustion that made her agree to help her best friend out with a work project - one that ended up with her playing bachelorette for the night!

No man ever wants to be knocked off his feet by a woman he meets while she's wearing a bachelorette "suck for a buck" shirt...

Andrew knows that he wants Jocelyn the moment he lays eyes on her, but he's never been one to poach on another man's territory. He walks away but finds himself changed by the experience. Imagine his surprise when he sees her again, only to discover she isn't married and has never even been engaged.

Review:

If you love a bossy, dominate, alpha male… This book will have you reaching for the ice to put out your fire!

Andrew is a bit of a contradiction actually. From the first pages of his POV, he thumbs his nose at relationships, dismissing them as a hassle. Then one look at a caramel haired beauty and his ideas quickly begin to dissipate. Andrew’s luck is not with him however, because the beauty is celebrating her bachelorette party. However, as hard as he might try, he cannot shake her from his mind.
Jocelyn has just returned home (I use that term loosely, because it is not really a place she can label that. You’ll have to read it to know more…) from earning her graduate degree in physical therapy. As a former skater, and with her knowledge through helping team trainers for hockey teams, she hopes to be hired on with Chicago’s junior league hockey team. Jocelyn is not a boring character, by any means, however, her best friend Ce-Ce definitely bakes the crazy cake. She convinces Josie to help her out with preparation in pitching her PR firm to a club that wants to cater to bachelorette parties. Eventually, she gets Josie to play the part of the “bride to be.” After a crazy night, life moves on. Ce-Ce get the account, Josie gets her job, and Andrew? Well…

Turns out, Josie went to H.S. with Andrew’s brother. Fate brings them together again, and this time, with no “fiancĂ©” in his way, Andrew shoves his way into Josie’s life without doubt that she will be his. Of course…he’s right.
Again, Andrew is a bit of a contradiction. His possessive, jealous, bossy, and demanding. But, he is also, sweet, loving, understanding, and most importantly, he is aware of his other flawed characteristics. This means that he actually makes and effort to tamper down his caveman instincts. Outside the bedroom that is. Inside the bedroom, he untethers himself from his control and lets his alpha instincts run the show.

Josie certainly isn't complaining…and damn, neither am I.

Their relationship is a fun ride for the reader. The passion will set your panties on fire, the love will melt your heat, and the personalities will have you giggling and endearing the characters to you for the long haul.

I have never read a book by Rochelle Paige that I haven’t loved! It all started with Push the Envelope and Drake, who, as much as I love Andrew, has yet to be surpassed in my eyes. Each time she releases a book, I jump to read it and am never disappointed!

I should warn you I don't mind "insta-love/like," but if you're not a fan, that may bother you in this book. However, it fits Andrew's personality so well, that I think you could easily overlook it.

Andrew and Josie get 5 thumbs up from this girl!

Excerpt:

“Hi, Alec. I hope I’m not too early,” I heard a woman say softly after the sound of the door opening. Just the sound of her voice sent a chill up my spine.
“Not at all,” Alec replied. “Mom was just saying how excited she is you could come over before everyone else so she could catch up since it’s been so long since she’s seen you.”
“How sweet. It’s hard to believe it’s been seven years already. I guess they’re right when they say time flies,” she replied
“And I told you that you didn’t need to bring anything,” he scolded her in a teasing tone as they moved close to the kitchen.
I stood up from the table and hadn’t even taken a step when they made it into the kitchen. Alec hadn’t been kidding when he’d said that she wasn’t a dude. Jo, the girl my mom was urging my brother to ask out, was the caramel-haired beauty I hadn’t been able to get out of my mind since she was in my club. For her bachelorette party.
And then it hit me. My brother couldn’t ask her out because she was probably already married. It had been a little more than a month already. I glanced down at her ring finger and was shocked to find it bare. While I stood there in a stupor my mom had moved to give her a hug.

About the Author

I absolutely adore reading - always have and always will. My friends growing up used to tease me when I would trail after them, trying to read and walk at the same time. If I have downtime, odds are you will find me reading or writing.

I am the mother of two wonderful sons who have inspired me to chase my dream of being an author. I want them to learn from me that you can live your dream as long as you are willing to work for it.

When I told my mom that my new year's resolution was to self-publish a book in 2013, she pretty much told me "About time!"

Five Things You May Not Know About Sucked Into Love:

1. It was going to be my debut book until the idea for Push the Envelope smacked me upside the head and wouldn't let go.

2. The idea for Andrew and Jocelyn to meet at a fake bachelorette party was inspired by... a fake bachelorette party during a girls road trip weekend.

3. I hadn't planned on Jason being a major part of this series until he insisted he get his own story - and girl!

4. My favorite part of writing this book was the brainstorming session I had with my best friend many, many months ago.

5. The idea of a boarding school that was famous for some of it's sports programs may sound far-fetched, but fact is sometimes stranger than fiction as there really is one in Indiana.
