Title: Love So Irresistible (Lawsons #3)
Age Group: Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 14, 2015
Cover Designer: Lindee Robinson Photography

SYNOPSIS:
All former Navy SEAL Mason Lawson craves is solitude. Unfortunately, his new neighbor won’t allow him the peace he so desperately needs. Between the traffic and the music, Mason is constantly on edge—not exactly what the doctor ordered for someone recovering from a bullet to the leg. However, when he finally has enough and confronts his neighbor, nothing can prepare him for how hot he’d get for the teacher next door.

Piano teacher, Skylar Jernigan, loves everything about the town of Jessamine—from the quaint Main Street shops to the people who own them. Unfortunately, once she’s chewed up and spit out by her sexy neighbor, Skylar begins to question her decision to move to a new town. Until, that is, she learns he’s suffering from a war wound and refuses to have anything to do with his family.

Now, Skylar is determined to help Mason recover—mentally, physically and socially—until he turns the tables and sets out to seduce Skylar right out of her meddling ways. Only seduction turns into something more and soon, Mason can’t stop looking for excuses to be with her. But when the Navy wants Mason to reenlist for a dangerous mission, will Skylar be too irresistible for him to leave?

REVIEW- 4 Stars

I'm a sucker for a good military hero story even more so when it feels realistic.  And that's exactly what Love so irresistible was, a realistic example of what war can do to someone, and how love can be the one thing to put the broken pieces back together.
I loved the dynamic of the characters and how it was a struggle to get past a lot of the inner demons that Mason faced, but how he slowly broke out of his shell.  It made me fall in love with him more after each chapter when a little piece of him would shine through.  He started off as this grumpy man who couldn't tolerate the interaction with people and turned out to be one of the most lovable and admiring men around.
I wasn't as much of a fan Skylar as I wish I was.  She was sweet, but to me she seemed a little whinny in the beginning.  She grew on me though, and I admired the way she stuck around for all the challenges Mason through her way.
The reason this wasn't a five star for me was due to the way part of the story was written.  I had trouble keeping up as to what people were doing and how things would escalate from one scene or situation to the next.  Other than that, I enjoyed Love so Irresistible, it was an easy read.
