I have to say, at first, i wasn't
sure if this one was going to be a hit for me. It started a little slow,
at least from my view point, and I wasn't a fan of Lana even though I liked her
in the first book. All of that quickly changed as I went further into the
book.
I fell in absolute love with
Cal. I mean, heart pounding, goofy smiles, and school girl giggle type of
love. I knew I liked him in the brief times I read about him from the
previous book, but I had no idea how much I would love him until Completely
Yours. He's a firefighter, he's a little damaged, super sexy, and
witty. There isn't anything more perfect that than.
I loved seeing Lana's progression
throughout this book too. Her strength quickly became stronger and I
started to like her a bit more.
There is this entire sub plot to
this book that is only hinted at, but finally revealed at the end of this
book. And of course, it's a cliff hanger, so you know, I had a freak out
moment when I realized I had to wait for the next one. But, it's okay,
it's totally worth the wait. It's such a huge twist but it worked
perfectly. Seriously, this is one series you need to buy.
Honestly, I can love a book and
never have a quote or a part that resonates with me, but there was a certain
part of this book that just killed me. It hit home and I just sat there,
jaw slack, unsure of what to do next because it just made so much sense in my
life. And for someone to be able to accomplish that for me deserves some
sort of an award.
Although this started off slow for
me, it still earned a 4.5 stars. I can't wait for the next book in the
series. Until then, I'll be over here, dreaming about Cal and all his
gorgeous glory.
