Love the
warning! It's Dirty, Bad and a little Savage...so I
couldn't wait to jump into this. I was expecting some more shock and awe
and of course you get that, but again there is a beautiful love story
underneath it all.
I could not
put this book down and absolutely loved seeing Masque, Cat, and Raven again.
Seriously enjoyed the interaction with them...I love how Jade took two
people from different backgrounds and they just clicked. Yes, they had
their reservations, but it's like they were destined for each other. Testing
each other's limits, finding love when they weren't looking...it was
magnetic!
Callum
hasn't had it easy. He's brutal, he's savage, but he's also caring,
protective and loves fiercely. He's grown up poor and no one caring about
him. He's been in and out of trouble...he's rough and incredibly
gorgeous. He's also talented, but he's been told he's nothing. When
an unexpected encounter between him and Sophie happens...you know you're in for
a ride.
Sophie is
prim and proper or at least she is during the day and out in the open.
Behind closed doors, she's a submissive. She feels most like
herself in the BDSM world, she loves pain, and sex. But with her family
she has to put on a mask for their image. Sophie also has a huge heart. She
works as an estate manager and works with poor communities. She could go
work for her family and make a lot of money, but she wants to make a
difference. She wants to help people. When she goes on a check to
her complex, she encounters a man who may just change her world.
The
chemistry between them is blazing. God, it was hot. Is this book as
taboo as the first? No, but it's still hot on its own. I was drawn
to the realistic relationship. It was a brilliant and captivating
journey! I fell in love with both of them and couldn't get enough.
It wasn't easy, no love is ever easy.
I loved how
Jade wrote these characters. My heart went out to both of them.
They are from different class, but still have the same feelings of not
being loved or appreciated. Both are always judged based on their
appearances, but they are more than what they appear to be on the outside.
Jade West
did a phenomenal job again. This book gives you the feels, is eye opening
and wonderfully savage! I adore her and can't wait to see what magnificent
thing she writes next! 5 Savage Stars!!!
