Wowzer...I love MC books, but this isn't really like anyone I've read. This book had me reeling. It's a story that's dark, a little disturbing, yet has passion and love.

Casey is a frightened little girl. She has no one...her mother is a drug addict who cares about her next fix. She has no friends and she's being held captive in a room that belongs to the Satan’s Creed MC. Her only hope is her aunt Emma, but that's slowly disappearing. She hasn't had any contact with anyone outside of the club for almost a year. All she feels is alone, scared and dirty....Will Emma be able to save her before the unthinkable happens...her destiny?

Max has returned home from trying to find himself or get his life back on track. Years ago his sister was murdered. They never found her murderer and he just couldn't deal with her not being here anymore. When Max heads home he's faced with another dilemma...Emma

Emma is the sweet, beautiful good girl everyone loves. She's also who Max always secretly wanted, but couldn't have. She was his sister’s best friend and his on/off again fling was her sister. With Max being older it just never worked, but Em always crushed on him. Now he's back and she needs him...will he help her?

The connection these two share is sweet, sizzling and hot! When you add in the drama of the MC, Emma's life, Casey’s rescue and Max's life...you get a book that will have you on edge!

This my first A.C. Bextor book and will not be my last...the story is gripping, has your heart beating out of your chest at times and is smoking hot! Little Casey is heartbreaking and I just want to hug her and never let go. She hooked me right from the prologue...

Of course this ends on a cliffy and will leave you pissed...lol, but it was the perfect way to end it. As I said I haven't read a MC book like this ever… it’s unique, dark and gritty and will have you reeling. All the characters are written perfectly and will leave you feeling so much! Buy this book and enjoy the ride because one hell of a dirty ride! 4.75 Monkey Stars!

Pursing her lips, her face gets serious again. “I don’t think you should get involved. “You involved me when you asked for help. It’s too late anyway. I’m already in.” “Shit,” she mumbles. Leaning forward in my seat, I rest my elbows on my knees and focus on her face to keep her attention. “I have an intro to Creed tonight. If this goes well, I could have a job. If it doesn’t go well, we will rethink the plan.” Now she looks completely defeated and we’ve only just started. “I don’t have a plan, Max,” she states, standing and putting her hand to her forehead. “What I have is a niece who needs my help, law enforcement in this shit of a town that refuses to acknowledge what’s happening in it, and the only person I think I can count on is meeting with the man who’s to blame for all of it.” “I don’t think Hoss is the biggest problem,” I inform. “If rumor is true, there’s someone else leading this, and that someone is big. Hoss is no one in comparison to who we’re really talking about.”

AC Bextor lives in a small town in the Midwest. When she's not writing she can be found reading or watching her favorite sports teams. She enjoys spending time outside fishing, swimming, or camping.

Her first book, Holding On - Lights of Peril, published in October 2013. She's currently working on a new series, The Vengeance Duet, which is scheduled to publish Summer 2015.
