This is by far the best book
Ilsa has written. Oh my god I don't even know where to start....this
checks off so many boxes for one of my favorite reads.
Accents I love accents.
Then when you put them with a hot, sexy alpha male you can't go wrong.

Elizabeth had me right from
the prologue. This girl was damaged, but yet she was coping the best way
she knew how. I love her feisty attitude and her shyness in a sense.
She wasn't going to fall victim again, no she was empowering herself.
What she doesn't expect is to have this beautiful man turn her thinking
and her world upside down...she doesn't want love, yet she can't help but start
to fall for this man who makes her feel safe...who makes her feel again...will
she finally admit her feelings and lean on someone else?
Declan oh my...I literally
want to lick him and eat him. He's a brute, but he's a romantic at heart.
Swoon....he omg I can't say enough about him!!!! When he sees
Elizabeth for the first time he is so intrigued with her. He wants to get
to know her not just shag her. Swoon swoon swoon...definitely new
favorite book boyfriend.
Her
body was a drug, and I wanted to consume her. I wanted to press her deep
into those sheets and claim her as mine.
But
I didn't
I
didn't want to be just one night with Elizabeth. I wanted more.
Can you say sexual
tension...yes lots of sexual tension. When they finally give in to the
urges...its downright smoking fireworks hot! I was seriously rooting for
these two the moment they met. Something just drew me into their
connection, it was like a magnet.
As always Ilsa writes great
angst. She can take a broken person and make them whole again.
She's adds flavor to each tale. This has it all...heartbreak,
laughter, sexiness, and little bit of terror. She takes a few tough
subjects and handles them with grace and beauty. She doesn't sugarcoat
what happened to Elizabeth, but gives her strength. She shows her she is
worth it by allowing her to find her happiness, her safety, her voice.
The secondary characters are
fantastic. I loved that Shelly and Blake were good friends and had her
back. Nadia...wanted to smack the smugness off her face! Dax oh my I want
him too. Two twin Brits wrapping me in a sandwich please...lol
Please say you are going to
write a book about Dax...please pretty please!
AND I want an audio of this
just to hear the angst and accents...lol
I could go on and on about
this book, but I don't want to spoil anything. Highly recommended
this....but it now! This is added to one of my top reads this year!
