I OMG...I so did a freaking happy
dance when I got this...I kept waiting and waiting for it to show up in
Netgalley and then when I was approved...Woohoo!!! Freaking A!!!
"You are the rhythm of my heart."
J. Kenner does a fantastic job with
this second installment. She starts it off with a bang! Jackson and
Sylvia are back again and I am loving the connection between them even more.
Jackson is a hero in my book. He's sweet, protective and would
do absolutely anything for Sylvia. Sylvia was a little too needy at
times, but then I could also understand why.
"You are mine Sylvia.
From the first moment I saw you in Atlanta, I knew that there was no
other woman for me. Not before, and not ever again. You are the
light that fills my days and illuminates my nights."
This book has so much going on you
can't help, but get sucked in. With more complications, secrets revealing
and yes even some questions. I kept reading and saying ok just a little
bit more, but then something big would happen....The last few pages will leave
you with a gasp. Totally didn't see that coming at all!!
With all the changes going to
happen in the next installment, I am so stoked to read it. I cannot wait
to see how everything comes out and how it all ties together. Will their
past win? Or will Jackson and Sylvia find a way to come out on top?
No matter how much he professed to
be in control-in life, Sylvia held Jackson's heart in her hands, and he was
utterly hers.
J. Kenner does it again with a
awesome and fantastic book. Her scenes are so descriptive you can't help
but feel you are in the room watching everything unfold. The
chemistry...emotions...love between them is undeniable and so sparking....you
can feel it coming off the pages. J. Kenner does a phenomenal job with
dirty talk, dirty sex and weaving love into the mixture. Remarkable and
so freaking hot!!! Grab a fan ladies because you will need it or you
might combust!!! Scorching! This book is emotional, provocative,
and magnificent!
The titles of the series are so
fitting....
Can't wait for Under My Skin...4.75
